Junior Equity Analyst

We are seeking a Junior Equity Research Analyst to join our dedicated and accomplished team of professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or candidate with a few years of equity research experience to further advance his/her career. As a Junior Research Analyst, you will develop expertise in fundamental and economic analysis across several sectors including banking, fintech, homebuilders, consumer finance and REITs. You will be expected to interpret economic data, build & maintain complex financial models, conduct fundamental research on assigned industry positions, highlight key points in earnings calls, attend conferences and management meetings, contact and build relationship with portfolio company management and deliver written reports.

This role will require the successful candidate to travel up to two weeks a month on research trips. To succeed, you must have excellent time management skills, be self-motivated, hard-working, and detail oriented.  Please note that this position is office-based and does not offer a remote work option.  A team player comfortable with wearing multiple hats would thrive in our entrepreneurial, growing firm.

Qualifications

  • Degree in economics, finance, mathematics or similar with 3.3+ GPA
  • Equity research or commercial credit analysis experience beneficial
  • CFA preferred
  • Excellent accounting and financial skills
  • Power Excel user
  • The highest standards of personal and professional integrity and ethics

Marketing Intern

We are seeking a paid Marketing Intern to be responsible for supporting key initiatives at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, Investor Relations, and CRM. We expect the successful candidate to possess the ability to manage critical assignments from beginning to end with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.

As a Marketing Intern, you will be expected to act as a knowledgeable and proactive member of the team, including:

  • Producing and maintaining investor presentations, fact sheets, due diligence materials and monthly fund commentaries
  • Preparing for investor meetings and follow up on actions from those discussions
  • Leading fund performance reporting database management
  • Updating CRM using internal and external data sources
  • Tracking and reporting on the sales pipeline

This role will suit a “go getter” who appreciates time sensitivity and is a good communicator.

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will be highly numerate and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field. Exposure to the financial services, sales, marketing or legal industries is preferred.

  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator and Excel
  • Prior experience with a CRM system is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to write concisely, correctly and persuasively
  • Extremely organized with attention to detail
  • Comfortable juggling shifting deadlines and priorities
